Our website and email are hosted on beehiiv, which processes subscriber and usage data on our behalf as our service provider.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your email address when you subscribe; your name if you provide it; and any details you include when you claim a free resource, respond to a survey, leave a comment, or reply to an email.
- Information collected automatically. Standard usage and device data such as IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, and email opens and clicks. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies (including analytics pixels) on our site and in our emails.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not send it to us.
How we use it
- To send you the newsletter and the free resources you request.
- To operate, measure, and improve the website and content.
- To respond to your messages and requests.
- To protect the service against fraud, abuse, and security risks.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR). We rely on your consent for marketing emails (you can withdraw it anytime); our legitimate interests in running and improving the publication and keeping it secure; and legal obligation where the law requires.

Because our platform stores subscriber data, certain deletion and export requests are handled at the platform level — you can also email [email protected]. We'll respond within the time the law requires and may need to verify your identity first.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as you're subscribed and as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
International transfers
We're based in the United States and our providers may process data in the U.S. and elsewhere. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
Children
This site is intended for business decision-makers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
